can select more than one Event Type. In fact you should select several Event
Types to increase your chances of receiving matching events. If you cannot
find certain specific Event Types, contact us and we may be able to suggest some
Event Types and/or add some new ones.
How will I be notified about upcoming events?
You will receive an email, generally about once a week, listing events which match
your event-types and location(s), and possibly other criteria.
Why am I not receiving any events in the email?
There can be several reasons:-
- There are no events scheduled in your location of preference.
- In Edit Profile - check that you have selected some Event Types. You should
select more than one.
- In Edit Profile - check your Mail Preferences, ensure you are able to receive
emails.
- In Edit Profile - Event Location Preference must contain ONE City name.
Make sure City name is correct and complete. You must also enter ONE, COMPLETE
Postal / Zip

Click on the

link to view information on our event promotion offerings.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with questions or feedback.
Why can I not edit Event Start/End Dates?
Once an event is advertised (posted), a delivery mechanism is created for it. Just like
once you post an ad in the newspaper, you cannot change it. You can however
promote (advertise) a new event.
How can I cancel an event promotion (event advertisement)?
Go to Edit Events. See bottom part of form for cancelling
an event.
How do I find/select the correct Event Type?
When Promoting Event, I cannot find the right Event Type
Select an Event Type that describes the MAIN FOCUS or PURPOSE of
the event you are organizing.
If you cannot find anything matching, contact us and tell us about the event.
We may be able to recommend one or add a new Event Type. Important: If you select an
incorrect Event Type, your event information may be sent to the wrong audience. You can also use
Help Me Find Event Type
to search available Event Types.
Why do we ask for event details to be posted on our site?
We want to provide a consistent experience to our Subscribers. The purpose of Events366
is to bring information on various events, in a well defined and easy to understand
format, to one place, which is our web site. If your event information is
incomplete, vague, inconsistent or hard to read, it is not useful for our Subscribers.
I posted a new event, and now I want to view it as an Event Subscriber.
You can of course view your events within the Edit Events section. Event Subscribers
need not visit our site to view your events, because we send them your event details
via email. A subscriber can then click on the event detail link in the email,
and can view all the event information. We implemented the system in this
manner to make it easier for event subscribers to find out about upcoming events.
Why are web site links not allowed, when advertising / promoting events?
We want to provide a consistent experience to our Subscribers. The purpose of Events366
is to bring information on various events, in a well defined and easy to understand format, to one place, which is our web site.
Providing 3rd party web site links defeats the whole idea, as users now have to
visit different web sites, which are formatted differently, which all provide different
information for their users. This is not only time consuming, it also reduces
your ability to promote your event. In addition we also do not want event
listings on our site which simply say 'click on this link to find more info....',
as this forces users to have to browse several sites. Again, this reduces
the effectiveness of your event ads as many users may not click on those links,
and your event content will go un-noticed.
Can I post Regular Occurring Events?
Can I upload events in bulk to Events366.com?
Please contact us and we can discuss this in more detail.
Events366.com - General Questions:
Is there a fee or charge for using your services?
For now, the service is free and we do not request any credit card/billing information.
But there will be a charge in the future. You will never be charged automatically
or without your knowledge, and we do not renew any paid membership automatically.
If you do not renew a paid membership, your account will simply expire.
How can I change or stop the mail I receive?
Login to your account. In Edit Profile, change 'Mail Preferences'
setting.
How can I cancel my account?
You can either let it expire or contact us and we can cancel it. We will close
your account within 3 working days or less.
Why don't you allow HTML in your forms?
We only allow plain text to be entered in our forms. We want to provide a
consistent experience to all our users. If all event postings looked different
with various colors and images, it will become more time consuming for Subscribers
to browse the ads. We also filter out HTML and certain words due to security
and formatting reasons.
I am an Event Planner and I would like to provide you with content, or write articles for Events366.com.
We occasionally accept content in the form of articles from 3rd parties. Certain
terms and conditions apply. Please contact us with your details and we can
discuss this.
